Privacy Policy: Calendar Planner & Reminders

This policy explains how the Android app Calendar Planner & Reminders (package com.calendar.planner.app, "the app"), made by MetamorphAI, Surat, India ("we", "us"), handles your information. If you have any question, write to picturekeyboardapps@gmail.com.

1. Summary

  • The app is a calendar and planner. Your events, tasks, habits, notes and settings stay on your phone.
  • There is no account and no sign-up. We do not run servers that store your calendar, contacts or tasks.
  • The free version shows ads. The ad and analytics tools from Google described in section 3 collect some device and usage data.
  • We do not sell your personal data.

2. Data that stays on your phone

We do not collect the following. It is used only inside the app, on your device:

  • Calendar (calendar permission): to show, create and edit events in the calendar accounts already on your phone, such as Google, Samsung or Exchange/Outlook. Syncing is done by those accounts, not by us.
  • Contacts (contacts permission, optional): only to show your contacts' birthdays. Contacts are never copied or uploaded.
  • Tasks, subtasks, notes, routines, habits, countdowns and focus history: stored in the app's private storage on your phone.
  • Notifications and exact alarms: to deliver your reminders on time, the optional daily plan notifications and the focus timer. They are prepared on your phone from your own data. The content of your events and tasks is never sent anywhere.
  • Settings such as theme, language and reminder preferences.
  • Backup: if Android backup is turned on, Android may back up the app's data to your own Google account. We cannot read that backup.

The app does not request your location, camera, microphone, photos or files.

3. Data collected by third-party services

The app uses these Google services. They may collect data as described in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

  • Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK), free version only. Ad formats: banner, interstitial, app open, rewarded (only when you choose to watch one) and native ads. It may collect the advertising ID, device and app information, ad interactions, diagnostics and your IP address (from which an approximate location may be inferred). It uses them to show, measure and protect ads, and to prevent fraud. Ads are never shown in reminders or widgets, or while you create or edit an event.
  • Google User Messaging Platform. In the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws, we ask for your consent to personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time in Settings > Privacy options.
  • Firebase Analytics: app usage events (for example which screens and features are used, whether reminders arrive on time, onboarding steps and purchases), the device model and Android version, and app instance identifiers. We use them to understand how the app is used and to improve it. These events never contain the text of your events, tasks, notes, searches or contacts. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
  • Firebase Remote Config: downloads app settings (for example which features are switched on) using a Firebase installation ID.
  • Google Play Install Referrer: tells the app how it was installed (from the store page or from an ad campaign). We use it to decide how ads are shown.
  • Google Play Billing: handles the one-time "Pro" purchase. We receive only the purchase status. Your payment details are handled by Google Play and are never shared with us.
  • Google Play In-App Review: if you rate the app from inside it, the review is handled by Google Play.

All this data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

4. What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not read the content of your events, tasks or contacts for advertising.
  • We do not upload your calendar, contacts, tasks or notes to any server.

5. Email to us

If you use Feedback in the app, your own email app opens with our address. If you send the message, we receive your email address, the message and the details added to it (app version, Android version and phone model). We use them only to reply and to fix problems, and we delete them when they are no longer needed.

6. Keeping and deleting data

  • Data on your phone is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its storage (Settings > Apps > Calendar > Storage > Clear data). Events in your calendar accounts stay in those accounts.
  • Analytics data is kept by Firebase for up to 14 months, then deleted automatically.
  • To ask us to delete analytics data linked to your installation, email picturekeyboardapps@gmail.com.
  • You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Google settings.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, Brazil's LGPD, India's DPDP Act 2023, Japan's APPI or Korea's PIPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. To use these rights, email picturekeyboardapps@gmail.com. You can also withdraw ad consent at any time in Settings > Privacy options.

9. Security

Your data stays in the app's private storage on your phone, and data sent by the services above is encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transfer is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
