Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the QR Launcher mobile application ("App") provided by Metamorph AI Labs ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. About the App
QR Launcher is a home screen launcher and productivity app for Android. It lets you scan QR codes and barcodes, customize your home screen and app drawer, use gestures, hide app icons, search apps and the web, view weather, use a flashlight (torch), and apply wallpapers.
2. Eligibility
You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your country. If you are under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), you may use the App only with a parent or guardian's consent. The App is not directed at children.
3. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on your Android device for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and Google Play's terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the App, except as allowed by law;
- use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- scan, open, or distribute QR codes or links that lead to malware, phishing, or illegal content;
- interfere with the App's security, servers, ads, or billing systems, or attempt to bypass any paywall or subscription check;
- use bots or automated tools to access the App.
5. Permissions and Device Access
To work properly, the App may request the following permissions. Most are optional and used only for the feature described.
- Camera – to scan QR codes and barcodes.
- Microphone (Record Audio) – for voice-based search features, only when you choose to use them.
- Location (approximate/precise) – to show local weather.
- Notifications – to send alerts, updates, and offers. You can turn these off in device settings.
- Set Wallpaper – to apply wallpapers you select.
- Display over other apps – for certain launcher overlays and ad or feature screens.
- Request to delete packages – to let you uninstall apps from the launcher. You always confirm via the system prompt.
- Expand status bar – for gesture actions such as swiping down to open notifications.
- Run at startup – so the launcher and its services are ready after your device restarts.
- Internet and billing – for web search, weather, ads, notifications, and purchases through Google Play.
You can change or revoke permissions any time in your device settings. Some features may not work without them.
6. Default Launcher
The App can be set as your default home screen. This is always your choice and can be skipped or changed at any time in your Android settings. Setting or removing the App as default does not delete your data or other apps.
7. QR Codes, Links and Third-Party Content
The App may open links, web pages, or apps based on codes you scan or searches you run. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for third-party websites, apps, or content. Always check where a code or link leads before you act on it. You are responsible for what you scan and open.
8. Subscriptions and Purchases
- Some features are paid and offered as weekly, monthly, or yearly subscriptions, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, through Google Play Billing.
- Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Prices may vary by country and may change; changes will be shown before they apply to you.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy. We cannot process refunds directly for purchases made through Google Play.
9. Advertising
The free version of the App shows ads provided by third-party ad networks, including Google AdMob. These providers may use device identifiers and similar technologies to show and measure ads. Ads are clearly separate from the App's own interface. Please see our Privacy Policy for how data is handled and how to manage ad personalization.
10. Notifications and Messages
We may send push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging about updates, features, and offers. You can disable notifications at any time in the App or in your device settings.
11. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use it. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described there.
12. Intellectual Property
The App, including its name, logo, design, code, and content, is owned by Metamorph AI Labs or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Wallpapers and other third-party media remain the property of their respective owners. No rights are granted to you except those expressly stated in these Terms.
13. Updates and Availability
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. Some updates may be required to keep using the App. We do not guarantee the App will always be available, accurate, or error-free. Weather and search results are provided for general information only.

15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Metamorph AI Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or device functionality arising from your use of the App or from scanned codes, links, or third-party content. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.
16. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms. Sections that by nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability) will continue to apply.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India, unless local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
