Terms of Use: Calendar Planner & Reminders

These terms apply to the Android app Calendar Planner & Reminders (package com.calendar.planner.app, "the app"), made by MetamorphAI, Surat, India ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The app

The app is a calendar and planner. It shows and edits events from the calendar accounts on your phone, and offers reminders, tasks, habits, countdowns, a focus timer and home-screen widgets. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Android devices you own or control, for personal or internal business use, in line with these terms and the Google Play Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, resell or redistribute the app, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.

3. Your content and your calendars

  • Your events, tasks, notes and habits belong to you. They are stored on your phone and in your own calendar accounts, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Because your data is stored on your phone, you are responsible for keeping backups. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes the data stored by the app. Events in your calendar accounts are kept by those accounts.
  • When you create, edit or delete an event, the change is made in the calendar account you chose, and that account syncs it. We do not control third-party calendar services and are not responsible for how they sync or store data.

4. Reminders and notifications

The app is designed to deliver reminders on time. However, delivery depends on your phone, its battery and power-saving settings, the permissions you give, and the Android system. Reminders can be late or missed. Do not rely on the app as your only reminder for anything critical, such as medication, medical appointments, safety matters or legal and financial deadlines.

5. Pro (one-time purchase)

  • The app offers "Pro", an optional one-time in-app purchase, with no subscription. Pro removes ads and unlocks extra features such as the two-week view, the year heat map, unlimited routines and all themes and event palettes.
  • Purchases are processed by Google Play under the Google Play Terms of Service. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policies.
  • Pro is linked to the Google account used for the purchase. You can restore it on another device signed in to the same account with Settings > Restore purchase.
  • If we change which features are included in Pro, features you already paid for will stay available to you for as long as we offer the app.

6. Ads

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob, including rewarded ads you can choose to watch for a time-limited benefit. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred. Ads come from third parties, and we are not responsible for the content of ads or of the sites they link to.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app for anything unlawful, not to try to break or bypass its security, purchases or ads, and not to interfere with its normal operation.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its design, code, icons and text belong to us or our licensors. Google, Android, Google Play, Samsung, Exchange and Outlook are trademarks of their owners. The app is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

9. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or always available, or that it will work with every device or calendar service. Holidays, regional dates and other calendar information are provided for convenience and may contain mistakes.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, missed reminders, missed appointments or lost profits arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for Pro, if any. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

11. Ending use

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering the app or any feature. If we do, these terms still apply to your earlier use of the app.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Surat, Gujarat, India have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
